The Colours of Candle Magick
Black: The most powerful colour in the candle collection. Black candles can Repel, Inflict, Curse, Counter-Act, Protect, Bind, Release and Control. A lot of people tend to distance themselves from ever using Black candles as they relate it to Evil or Dark Magick. This is not the case. Personally I think that’s as stupid as saying because Hollywood puts Rottweilers in movies as ‘the hounds from Hell’ that it makes all Rottweilers evil! The Black candle can help to remove and absorb any misguided energy and can also repel negativity and Dark Magick. These can also be used to create harm unto others, but we wouldn’t want to be dabbling in that now would we!
Blue (Light): Wisdom, Inspiration, Truth, Inner Peace, Harmony And Balance. This is more of a tool for Guidance and Serenity. A placid and positive candle.
Blue (Dark): Knowledge Quest and Psychic Enhancement. This is better used in Advanced Craftwork. For true insight and guidance at a higher level of spirituality.
Brown: Best for Animal and Earth based Magick. Is good for Grounding and Balance.
Gold: Fortune, Wealth and Luck based spells. Also works well with Leo related energies.
Green: Financial Gain, Good Health, Balance, Knowledge, Plants and Nature, Fertility and Success. Also associated with Cancer and Sagittarius energies.
Indigo: Truth, Protection, Wisdom, Neutralizes Negative Energies, Psychic Enhancement, Aquarius and Virgo energies.
Magenta: This particular colour is used mainly as an Enhancement. It is used with other colours to Hasten Spellcasts.
Orange: Motivation, Organisation, Creativity, Development and Education and is related to Aries energy.
Pink: Love, Friendship, Spiritual Awakening, Family and Divine Forgiveness. Is also related to Libra energies.
Purple: Psychic Counteraction, Protection, Psychic Enhancement, Spiritual Connection and Faith. Purple candles are Gemini related.
Red: Passion, Psychic Counteraction, Rejuvenation, Strength and Courage. Is Scorpio and Aries related.
Silver: This is intended to Neutralize Energies and can also Repel Attacks. This candle is good to Meditate with. This is Capricorn related energy.
White: Purity, Truth, Positive Energies, Balance (Especially Auras) and Spiritual Guidance.
Yellow: Communication, Knowledge, Confidence, Clarity, and assists with Stopping Depression. Yellow candles are also Taurus and Libra related.
