If you went to this event you too would've been left in awe!
I first saw Iron Maiden back with the ‘Fear of the Dark’ tour at the Hordern Pavillion and they blew my mind then but seeing them again last night was pure bliss!
Originally I had a ticket for right up the top at the back and ended up selling it to a mate. About an hour before the gig I got a call saying someone was injured and was selling their dance floor ticket! So off I went! What an upgrade! Haha..
They played all my favourites; Wasted Years, Flight of Icarus, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Number of the Beast, 2 Minutes To Midnight, Revelations and much, much more.
Iron Maiden are the prime concert experience and never disappoint! Their live show is filled with classic Maiden art and they don't over do it like so many bands try for these days. They have just enough flames, just the right look, just the right sound, just the right presence, just the right everything!
Bruce is always taking up the stage; the man literally doesn't stay still! And wow, can those blokes play guitar! And that drum kit... is that the most awesome drum kit in the world or what?!
These guys give 100% each and every time and that's why they will always remain in the hearts of metalheads all over the world for all eternity! They are the epitome of all that is metal.
Apparently Maiden hung around after the gig and had a few beers at the local bar and even chatted to the fans. You can only admire and respect that!
This little post is my way of saying Thanks to Iron Maiden for another spectacular show!
