Review:
Thy Kingdom Come – This album opens up immediately with an amazing abundance of brutality and deathly bliss. The vocals are mainly of a lower range, much like Cannibal Corpse, with an added infusion of screaming growls. The instruments are perfectly timed with each other presenting a chorus of carnage. It’s melodically fast with estranged guitar riffs, and machine gun like rhythms. A mere taste of the darkness to come.
“They weep forgotten they weep for the sake of you, None more forsaken no love for the blinded few, No time for repentance this faith consumes you all, Cracks in the foundation this world is doomed to fall…”
Contrived With Steel – Much like parts in a blender, the music is well controlled and timed and crunches at the right bits. There are melodic moments which mislead you in to a safe zone but not before long you are thrown straight back in to the blood letting splatter of metallic bliss. It’s partly scattered in its structure, but it’s well constructed and not overdone with its changes at all. It’s pure metal talent.
“Changing your present will never change your past, Your misleads hang on like gangrenous limbs, Atone for you sins in a sea of fire, And now this moment of weakness shall lead into an eternity of suffering…”
Metalhead – The metallic riffs are mentally confronting and send you into a psychotic spin. Its direction is again misleading, as it takes your hand and lures you into the wolves den. Yet the blood thirsty wolves are merely the merry part of your journey. What lies ahead is more sinister than anything else in this world. Definitely worth the purchase.
“Now listen for I am about to speak, About a few who’re united in vision, We all stand for this passion, It runs deeper and connects our very soul…”
Purification Through Immolation – You can be forgiven for thinking someone is just practicing their guitar chords as this one begins. But you would be sorely mistaken as this begins to blasts your eardrums. All the tracks here are of a decent length with over four minutes per track; proving good stamina and dedication. Again, there are a few good leads in here, thrown out amidst some serious erratic blasts of metal rhythms.
“These masks of men worn in public view, Accepted in society as part of normality, My hatred burns for the growing masses, My plan eradication…”
Sarcoma And The Nativity Of The Rising Sun – Welcomed amidst further obliteration I can only say that this band is truly worth checking out. These guys really are heavy and incorporate many changes into their tracks. Though, as I already mentioned, they’re not overdone, they are well combined. It keeps you alert and listening. The music uplifts you with its energy and keeps the heart pumping. And the length ensures you get your moneys worth.
“Welcome here to the kaleidoscope of infinite dimensions, Colours bright yet only in black and white, And red, As a swarm of insects, Cover the face of man…”

In essence, Synperium have constructed their music well. Lyrically they are well versed. Their CD sleeve includes all the lyrics, band pictures with member names and an arty cover. It’s simple and effective. A good job all round.
